Edits we do
| Edit | What it fixes |
|---|---|
| Exposure blending | Blown-out windows and dark rooms from bracketed shots |
| Vertical correction | Walls and door frames that lean in wide-angle shots |
| White balance | Mixed light from windows and bulbs that turns walls yellow or blue |
| Exterior cleanup | Dull skies, patchy lawns, trash cans and cars in the driveway |
| Small object removal | Cords, personal photos, magnets on the fridge |
Keep it honest
Listing photos should show the home as it is. We fix light, color and lens distortion, and we remove small temporary things. We don't hide permanent features such as power lines, cracks or a neighbor's building. Sky replacement, virtual twilight and virtual staging change what buyers see, so check your MLS rules on disclosing edited photos before you use them.
What to shoot
Bracketed exposures (three or five per angle) give the cleanest window views. If you shoot single exposures, we can still balance them, but windows may stay brighter than the room. Send RAW files where you can.
Turnaround
Listing photos are usually needed fast. Tell us the deadline when you upload, and we'll confirm it in the quote before we start. Larger homes and twilight edits take longer than a standard set.
Questions
Do you do virtual twilight?
Yes, from a daytime exterior. It should be disclosed like other significant edits; check your MLS rules.
Can you match another photographer's edit style?
Usually. Send a few finished photos as a reference.
