Edits we do
| Edit | What it fixes |
|---|---|
| Background to white or transparent | Gray or uneven backdrops, visible stands, clamps and tape |
| Color correction | Products that look warmer, cooler or duller than the real thing |
| Shadows | Harsh or missing shadows; we keep a natural one or add a soft drop shadow |
| Dust and scratches | Specks, fibers, fingerprints and small marks on the product |
| Crop and alignment | Products at different sizes or angles across a set |
Marketplace requirements
Marketplaces set their own rules for main images, such as a pure white background, a minimum size or how much of the frame the product fills. Tell us which marketplaces you sell on, or send their current requirements, and we'll export to match. Rules change, so check them before a big batch.
Getting color right
Color is the most common reason for returns when a product looks different in person. If you can, include a color reference card in one shot of each setup, or send us the product's color code. Screens show color differently, so we'll flag any product whose color is hard to judge from the photo.
Batches and consistency
For a store, consistency matters as much as each photo. We set up one recipe for your crops, margins, shadow and background, and apply it to the whole batch. When you add products later, the new photos match the old ones.
Questions
Can you add a reflection under the product?
Yes, for products where it suits, such as jewelry or electronics. We keep it subtle so the product stays the focus.
Do you edit ghost mannequin clothing photos?
Yes. Send the front and the inside neck shots and we'll combine them into one image.
Have a batch to edit? Tell us how many photos, what they're for and what each one needs.
