Cutouts
A cutout separates the subject from its background, so you can place it on white, on a color or on a new scene. Hard-edged products such as boxes and bottles get a clean path. Hair, fur, lace and glass need more careful masking to look natural. Tell us what the cutout is for, and we'll choose the method.

Color correction
Color correction makes neutral colors neutral and brings a photo back to how the scene looked. Color matching goes further: it makes a set of photos from different cameras, rooms or days look the same. The diagram on our home page shows the idea: a curves adjustment spreads a dark, flat exposure across the full range.
Brand colors
If a product or a logo has to match a brand color, send the color code. We match it as closely as the photo allows and flag any item that can't be matched without changing the look of the material.
Questions
Can you remove a background from a phone photo?
Yes, as long as the subject is in focus and reasonably sharp. Very small or blurry photos give rough edges.
Do you keep the original files?
We keep them only as long as needed for your order and any follow-up. See the privacy policy.
